What a month! Summer is ON! Playing lots of drums, practicing with Winston Smith, gigging with Medicine Baul, refreshing myself on sabar drums, practicing vibraphone, jamming some new (old) synth drums. I'm doing acrobatic stilting in the Elemental show at the Humboldt Made Fair this weekend. Shredded some killer hashbrowns today. Went to Oakland, got my hair cut, got fancied up, bike-posseed to the horse races, drank dollar beers, hooted and hollered, bet on Smoke Rise. Went on a dreamboat ride. BBQ'd with draweverywhere and *tinkerpaws, PRACTICEd drawing tapes and bikes and words and girls. Visited my Great Grandma Lola. Getting paid to harvest wild fennel: one of our most abundant weeds! Touched three rivers the other day (Mad, South Fork Trinity, North Fork Trinity). Feasted on mulberries. Started a big piopinno mushroom patch in my garden. Watched my dad play softball on father's day, they won both games! Made Eggplant & Oyster Mushroom Parmesean.  Solstice party at the Stormship (my place) this sunday, with music by White Gourd, 3 Moons, Tabloid and Medicine Baul. If you come, bring a dish or something to share. Empire Squared had an epic art show at Piante Gallery in Eureka, CA. Played music all night as Versionary as my contribution. Went to Wong School (check out Sonny Wong on dA!). Drew slowly and got silly with Forest and Jullia.  Getting ready to spend a week in the back country, playing and praying, feasting and beasting, visioning and versioning, ramming and jamming, gripping and ripping, turning and burning, practicing and practicing.
